Every year October, (also known as Techtober) is a great month for technology. Many innovative and revolutionary device gets unveiled this month. Like every year, this year Apple has announced its new smartphone iPhone 12 in its virtual event. Alongside iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max has also launched together. And the fun part is every iPhone model is 5G enabled allowing you faster download and browsing speed. In this article, we will be talking in-depth about the iPhone 12 launch.
iPhone 12 Design and Display
The new iPhone 12 features a 6.1-inch display size with a notch at the top of the display. Although if you want a small screen for any reason there are the iPhone 12 mini. iPhone 12 is rounded by the aluminum frame around the corner of the phone. The rear of the phone is made of glass with Ceramic Shield technology that makes it tougher than previous iPhones.
It has a dimension of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4mm and weighs 162 grams. Super Retina XDR display is used in the front of the iPhone 12 which has double the pixel than the iPhone 11. The phone is also marked as IP68 water and dust resistant.
iPhone 12 Cameras
The iPhone 12 houses a dual camera in the back of the phone with a huge square on the side including a flash. It contains a 12MP wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field of view. Apple has improved the Night mode as well. On the front of the iPhone 12, it has a 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
iPhone 12 Battery
We currently don’t have the official number on the battery capacity of the iPhone 12. But the company claims it can give 16 hours of video playback that is stored in your device rather than streaming videos.
The phone supports fast charging that can bump up to 50 percent in under half an hour. But here is the twist. Apple won’t provide the charging brick in the retail box instead you need to buy the 20W charger separately to use fast charging. We are thankful that at least Apple is providing a USB-C-to-Lightning cable to power it.
This time iPhone 12 lineup has a feature called MagSafe. Basically, the backside of the phone has a powerful round magnet that can snap into any magnetic substance. The wireless charger can be snapped right into the place while charging wirelessly. The new iPhone 12 has Qi fast wireless charging 15W support that can charge your battery faster.

Verdict
Apple not providing the charging brick is really dumb. At least they have included USB-C to lightning cable in the box. The pricing is just the right as it contains the fastest chip A14 Bionic and a great experience. Let’s just see if the price gets cut in the holiday seasons.
